MAY 19, 2026 — VOTE NO ON QUESTION 4
35 signatures from unelected activists do not speak for 22,842 registered Yarmouth voters.
THE NUMBERS DON’T LIE
$1 BILLION+
Massachusetts taxpayer dollars spent on emergency migrant shelters since 2023. Governor Healey declared a state of emergency and sent the bill to you.
$1.69M
Annual cost of ELL programs in the Dennis-Yarmouth school district alone. 371 students requiring English Language Learner services, paid by local property taxes.
35
Petition signatures put this sanctuary resolution on your ballot. That is 0.15% of registered voters. Most signers are retired transplants who arrived in the last two years.
WHAT THEY WON’T TELL YOU
- Question 4 already failed. This sanctuary resolution was defeated at Town Meeting. The same activists bypassed democratic process and put it directly on the ballot with just 35 signatures.
- The petition organizer moved to Yarmouth in 2024. Rev. Susan Gregory-Davis retired from New Hampshire, registered to vote in August 2024, and filed the petition in March 2026. Eighteen months of residency before trying to reshape your town.
- 38 years of professional activism. The Gregory-Davis couple have three arrests on record across DC, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. They declared their New Hampshire church a “sanctuary congregation” in 2017. They signed a national clergy letter calling to defund ICE and CBP. This is not grassroots concern. This is an imported operation.
- “Non-binding” is a Trojan horse. Once passed, activists use the vote as political leverage to pressure Select Boards into formal policy changes. It happened in Provincetown. It happened in Wellfleet. Yarmouth is next on their list.
- Massachusetts is hemorrhaging residents. Net domestic outmigration accelerates every year. Working families leave because they cannot afford to stay, while new arrivals receive shelter, healthcare, and education benefits funded by those same departing taxpayers.
- Your property taxes are the target. Two permanent Prop 2 1/2 overrides are also on the May 19 ballot. No sunset clause. Your tax levy ceiling raised permanently. Every year. Compounding.
WHO WE ARE
We are taxpayers, parents, veterans, small business owners, tradespeople, and lifetime Cape Codders who believe in one simple principle: the law applies to everyone equally, and American citizens come first in their own country.
We do not hold candlelight vigils. We do not write open letters. We vote. We show up. And we hold elected officials accountable when they put political ideology ahead of public safety and fiscal responsibility.
