WHAT THIS SITE IS

An informational site. We read the state reports, town budgets, meeting minutes and audits that most residents never see, and we publish what they say — with a link to the original document next to every number.

No opinions dressed up as facts. If we cannot link the record, it does not go on the page.

TOWN BY TOWN

Local decisions shape how safe, affordable and well-run your town is. We are working through the Cape one town at a time, starting with:

• Barnstable — offshore wind deals, the billion-dollar sewer plan, downtown Hyannis rezoning
• Yarmouth — Question 4, permanent overrides, the library, state shelter sites
• Every other Cape town to follow
